My favorite two words: Flash Sale! Forever 21 is one of my favorite stores to shop. I will admit, depending on where you shop some stores can be so overwhelming but I never leave empty handed when I am done. Depleated bank account, possibly but I can always find something I love.

Bomber Jackets and Pencil Skirts

Happy Tuesday! I have not been posting too many blogs lately, nor done much with my blog since the holidays so I have much to share with you! I hope everyones new year is going well and that you have all set some wonderful goals to accomplish this year! Do not be hard on yourself, start little and go from there. Little can be much!

Today I am sharing some fun items from the site Make Me Chic. Lately I have been wearing so much black! I dont know if I am in mourning or if the continual grey weather is affecting me but that has been my trend lately. My eye was drawn to this skirt when I saw it becasue I knew I could wear it many different ways. My oldest daughter is convinced it is a shirt, so she gave me a few good laughs when I tried to convince her otherwise. I found the black crop top from a store called Gabes when visiting my sister in West Virginia. It is a great store that carries name brands for cheaper prices. Pretty sure my definition of an amazing time. Now if only they would serve cupcakes! :)

The bomber jacket is definitely me stepping out of my norm. If you know me, florals are my go to. So for me to pick out an all black outfit with a jacket, one would think I went a little cray cray. The material was really thick and was a comfortable jacket. Im a nothern girl, born and raised in New York so I have to represent. I can’t say enough good things about this dress! First off my inner 90’s kid is screaming that I can wear sequins again as an adult. I obsoletely loved the holiday look this dress has to offer. Who says sexy has to consist of showing skin? This sleek and modest look just blew sexy out of the water while keeping it classy. The inside of this dress was soft and comfortable and the sequins did not make it uncomfortable at all.

This dress zips up in the back and and has such a flattering figure to it. As soon as I put it on my oldest daughter was squealing asking when she could wear it. The best part is that the dress is under $30! That is such a great price for a dress right in time for the holidays. I am wearing a size small for reference. I was very pleased with the quality of this dress and shipping time. You only have a short time before Christmas, so if you love this dress and price as much as I did I would buy one today!

Let’s talk Lace! When I first saw this shirt I fell in love. I loved how bright and crisp the white appeared and the lace detail gave it such a girly yet feminine vibe to it. The belle sleeves were a perfect addition without overdoing the general look. With a vintage feel to the shirt I paired it with my favorite express boot cut jeans. These jeans are so flattering and can be paired with almost anything!

The bottom of the shirt had a slight peplum look about it, flaring at the bottom. I enjoyed how the shirt had a fitted form to it while still maintaining some room to move about. My order was shipped quickly once it was placed and I was happy with the quality. The tank top underneath was slightly see through so I paired the top with my own white tank. Irresistible Me Hair Pt. 2

What better proof of showing what you love than a before and after? The first three pictures listed below are my hair naturally. I have fine, thin hair that requires a lot of hairspray to appear voluminous. Like most women I love for my hair to have that look of sheer volume but that is just not realistic when the numbers on my head are limited. That is why I love irresistible me hair extensions so much! They give my hair the volume that I need without the commitment. I am a big fab if clip ins because of how easy they are. It only takes 2 minutes and you are done. Personally I believe they are less damaging then professional extensions because you are not putting any chemicals or clamps in your hair. I can even where my hair in a ponytail if I want with the clip in. So easy! Take a look below and see the difference in hair.

These pictures below have the extensions in. The color matched perfectly! The color I have in my hair is called "Silky Golden Blonde".

The extensions gave length and volume and you would never be apply to detect because of how perfectly the colors match! I was so happy when I saw them in the mail. Lets talk watches! Typically I am a fan of big, bold watches. I wear them usually for the arm candy party and very rarely do I ever wear a watch for the time. Does that sound crazy? Wear a watch for the sole purpose of being just an accessory? I always have my phone on me so I never need to look anywhere else for the time. 

I would say I do about 60% of my blogging work on my phone. I have all my apps on there with my emails, which results in my constantly being on my phone. This is something that is necessary for me to do my work however I hate how much I have to be glued to that tiny device. With two little girls watching my every move and constantly looking up to me, I do not want them to always remember mommy being on her phone. Do you feel that way as well? If using a watch can take away one less distraction from me being on my phone, Ill take it! 

Daniel Wellington is a well known brand that makes some of the sleekest watches. In the past, I was not a fan of the sleek black look, but with age comes a new perspective and I just love my watch! One night in "Zori"

I am a mom. When you become a mom, 99% of life changes. I am not very big on change. Ok, let me rephrase that. I am not very good with reorganizing my life when it changes. I like to go with the flow, my typical answer to life according to my husband is "you decide".  

You see when you become a mom any "organization" of life you had before goes out the window and you are left finding the new norm. What does any of this have to do with fashion? You see the dress I am wearing? When GIna and Kate sent this dress to me, my daughter ripped it out of my hands and wanted to snuggle with it. She asked if she could use it as a blanket. Like the great mother I am, I ripped it out of her hands and said, "Are you kidding me? This is my NEW dress!!" 

How could my child ever think a dress would be used as a blanket?? Possibly because the dress is made out of the most comfortable material there is! When I slipped this on, it literally felt like I was wearing pajamas. Pajamas and heels to be exact. It seemed a little odd that something could look so pretty and be so comfortable, until I looked in the mirror and realized I was infact wearing an outfit ready for date night. 

More often than not I realize I need to humble myself infront of my kids. My daughter was just as excited as I was to see the new package in the mail. We just had two different perspectives. After I shot some pictures in this dress I came home and sat on the couch and my babies snuggled right up to me. In a different way than usual. Mommy was obviously a lot more snuggly feeling today. Perhaps I felt like a blanket. The only thing my oldest daughter wanted to feel from that dress. 

Life changes. The more children you have the more your world turns upside down. I am learning change can be a good thing. It allows for new opportunities and new perspectives. My girls show me on a daily basis that life is ever changing and with that comes new joys. Embrace the Change. And wear a "blanket" dress while you do. ")
