This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.
I hope you all have been enjoying my posts the past few weeks about the book Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion. I have been reading and following this diet plan the past month (for the most part :) and have really enjoyed the diversity in this diet plan. If you would like to read my previous posts you can find the first post here, second post here, and my third posts here.
“Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.” Understanding how my body works, especially in relation to food is helping in understanding weight loss. For so many years I have been conditioned to think that eating late only means gained weight and that is not the truth. We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal. Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good. Book cover found here.
There are many parts of this diet that I will continue to keep doing. Continuing to eat healthy fats, continue a simple morning routine, and not being afraid to eat late at night (as long as I am eating the right food). I also love the recipes in the back of the book. We have had so many good ones! If you think you are ready to read the book Always Eat after 7pm, and get a chance to apply this diet to your own lifestyle, you can purchase the book directly from the website here.
