Tim and I several weekends ago had the opportunity to stay at The Delmonte Spa and Hotel for a little baby moon and had the most wonderful time! The experience exceeded our expectations by a mile and we left feeling more refreshed than ever. While staying we received the Rejuvenating Package which included 2 massages, an over night stay with dinner and breakfast included. We also received a complimentary cheese tray upon entering our room. The staff was so sweet and made little "mocktails" since I am pregnant and could not drink the bottle of wine, which typically comes with the cheese tray.
We started off the weekend with massages. Tim received a deep tissue massage and I received a pregnancy massage. We both agreed they were wonderful and went by too fast! The bathrooms were decorated beautifully with a modern twist. Every product one would need was available at our fingertips along with refreshments and light snacks. There were many high end products I use at home available to use in the bathrooms, something I really loved seeing. There was a conditioner and shampoo in the showers I had not used before, a brand called Kerstin Florian that is sold right in the spa. It was labeled "reviving" and HIGHLY recommend it! My hair felt like silk all weekend!
After our time in the Spa we went to check into our room in the Del Monte Lodge. Tim and I both agreed it had a New York City type of vibe with the decor, a great way to think we had stepped outside of Rochester. Shortly after arriving in our room we had a cheese and drink tray bought up to us. We had some time before dinner and it was so relaxing to be able to sit and enjoy each others company without the hustle of life or children. Fair warning: the bed and comforter are amazing. So incredibly soft, and nothing like I have ever felt at a hotel before.
Dinner and breakfast were served at The Erie Grill. The grill is attached to the hotel but also open to the public. The food was so, so good! I am a foodie at heart and if it was not to my liking I would be honest and tell you upfront, however every bit was delicious. I had the Panko Chicken Cutlet with pasta on the side in lemon garlic white wine sauce. Even talking about it now makes me want to run back and get more. In the Breakfast pictures above I got two meals because I could not decide, and yes I ate both!! The Brioche French toast was my favorite and hit that perfect pregnancy craving!
Neither one of us wanted to leave when it came time for check out, who does when you have been treated so well? However life and parenting calls, and we were happy to see our babies again. I had always heard such high praises and reviews about the spa and Lodge and now I can fully recommend the establishment myself! It is the perfect place to stay for a little getaway or staycation as I call it, girls weekend for some time with friends, or even a place to recommend for family coming into town. Rochester is very fortunate to have such a great hotel located right in our city!
Feel free to leave any questions below you may have about our stay at either the spa or lodge!
XOXO,
Brianna
